Physiotherapy services

Manual therapy
There are a number of different manual therapy techniques which can be used for differing conditions and injuries. Based on your history, assessment and varying other contributing factors, your physiotherapist may select soft tissue massage, mobilisations or manipulations in order to improve your movement and function. The effectiveness of these techniques is then evaluated with re assessment for any progression or changes needed to suit your management plan. Physiotherapists are also trained in the use of dry needling. This technique can be a game changer for soft tissue injuries and allows us to diagnose and treat more efficiently than soft tissue massage, but this isn’t for everyone and you and your physio can decide whether it is the right fit.
Exercise rehabilitation
Movement and exercise are the cornerstone to excellent physical health, and it is our most efficient technique to get you moving and feeling better. Your physiotherapist will prescribe and demonstrate exercises with you in your consult as well as providing feedback, when necessary, to make sure you are performing them correctly. Exercise progressions will be added as your conditions improve. Goal setting is vital for exercise prescription because yes, we want your pain and injury to improve however in order to get you moving at your peak, we need to know which direction to go, and that’s where you come in!
Chronic pain consultations
Our physiotherapists are trained and have extensive experience in working with injuries and conditions that have been present for a longer period of time. This may include chronic pain as a result of conditions such as autoimmune conditions, motor vehicle accidents, neuropathic conditions, cancer or osteoarthritis. Or the pain may be due to a single injury which simply has not healed as expected and has continued to impact on your life and mobility. Whatever the cause, our physiotherapists can help you create a plan to help improve your function and get you back to living the lifestyle you want.
Mobile consultations
We are able to provide consults in the comfort of your own home. Common clients we see in the mobile setting include NDIS clients, aged care, DVA, post surgical rehab and private patients. You only need to provide us with the best time for us to see you and we can organise everything ahead of time.
Injury management
We see a lot of patients who are seeking information about certain injuries; be it a sporting injury or something a little more complex. Education underpins our mental resilience pillar and is a significant value add of ours for our clients as we believe it provides knowledge for injury prevention in the future. We want to help you take an active approach in your treatment, not relying on passive modalities such as massage in order to keep you fit and healthy. We will provide a diagnoses based on your assessments, and work with you to create an initial plan and progressions based on how your injury and assessments change.
CTP and workcover claims
If you have a workcover or motor vehicle accident, your GP will provide you with a certificate and information regarding physiotherapy management. We have extensive experience in working with these types of patients. As described above, our physiotherapists work with chronic pain patients and achieve great outcomes with them and a lot of them are workcover or CTP claim patients simply due to the nature of the complex injuries that can occur.
