WorkCover and CTP
If you have sustained a workplace injury or have been injured in a motor vehicle accident, physiotherapy can play an important role in your recovery and return to function.
Fortitude Healthcare has extensive experience working with WorkCover and CTP patients, including people experiencing complex injuries and persistent pain.
Returning to your previous health, function and work capacity following an injury may require input from a number of different professionals. We work collaboratively with GPs, specialists, rehabilitation consultants, employers and other treating professionals where appropriate.
Communication is an important part of this process. We provide regular reporting and updates regarding your progress, current capacity, barriers to recovery and rehabilitation goals.
Treatment is focused on helping you progressively rebuild the capacity and confidence required to return to work and everyday activities safely and sustainably.

When someone suffers from a neuromusculoskeletal disorder, an exercise and movement re-education program may be sufficient to restore full pain free movement, function, and return to full activity. However, in some cases, soft-tissue and joint restrictions are present, resulting in these same interventions being painful or, worse, aggravating to the condition. In these instances, a Physiotherapist can provide hands-on techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore normal function of the soft tissues and joints.
