NDIS and Aged Care Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy can play an important role in helping people living with disability and older adults improve mobility, physical capacity, independence and participation in everyday life.

These appointments are commonly provided in a mobile setting, allowing assessment and treatment to occur in the person's own environment.

Your physiotherapist will complete a detailed mobility and functional assessment and work with you to identify meaningful physical and functional goals.

Where appropriate, treatment plans and reports can be shared with support coordinators, plan managers and other members of the person's care team.

We believe this care works best as a team approach, with the client, family, support providers and treating professionals working towards shared goals.

Whether your NDIS plan is self managed or plan managed, we can work with you and your wider care team to develop a physiotherapy plan based on your individual needs.

Many people living with disability, and many older adults, can benefit from physiotherapy to maintain or improve their mobility, strength and independence. For some, getting to a clinic is difficult, or what matters most is how they move and function within their own home. In these instances, a physiotherapist can complete a detailed mobility and functional assessment in the person’s own environment and work with them to set meaningful goals. Where appropriate, treatment plans and reports can be shared with support coordinators, plan managers and the wider care team, so everyone is working towards the same goals.
